WHAT ARE YOUR PAYMENT TERMS? DO I NEED TO SIGN A CONTRACT?
A contract and retainer fee is required for all sessions and events and is due at the time of booking. The contract can be viewed and signed online, and confirms that I am officially reserving your date and we can start taking the next steps together. For wedding and elopement collections, 30% of the total fee is required at signing, and then the remaining balance can be split into a payment plan or paid in a single payment. For a la carte sessions, 50% of the total session fee is required at the time of signature to hold the date, and the remainder is due one week prior to your session.
HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN BEHIND THE CAMERA?
13 years! I have been photographing memories of my family and friends for as long as I can remember. But my grandpa bought me my first DSLR when I was a sophomore in high school back in 2011! It was then that my photography business took off. I remember taking photos for friends for free, and even my first time charging for a shoot! I charged $10 for engagement photos for some close friends! WOW! How the time has flown by, and oh how I have grown!
CAN WE HAVE THE RAW (UNEDITED) PHOTOS?
I do not deliver RAW files or unedited images to my clients. One of the reasons you hired me is for my style and post-production work. Trust me to provide the best of the best of your session!
HOW MANY PHOTOS DO WE ACTUALLY GET?
Every event is different, and there is no specific number I can guarantee. The duration/ type of event, size of the party, and the venue are all factors that play a role in coming up with how many images you should expect to receive back. Due to the number of influential factors, I do not like to promise a set number of proofs, but rather I can provide you with an estimate beforehand instead. Typically for portrait, engagement and couple sessions you can expect between 50-150 images and weddings and elopements will be between 500-700. These are not finite estimates and have the potential to be more or less than stated depending on your exact needs.
CAN WE PRINT OUR PHOTOS? SHARE THEM ONLINE?
ABSOLUTLEY! All packages include a printing rights release! I want you to be able to enjoy and share your photos!
HOW DO WE GET OUR IMAGES?
I deliver all sessions through an online, digital gallery. When the photos are ready, you'll receive a link that will take you to the gallery where you can download your photos! That being said, PLEASE! Make sure you actually download your photos, don't screenshot them. I pour hours into editing each photo and I want to make sure you get the best quality. So please download & back up your photos!
WHEN WILL WE GET OUR IMAGES?
Up to 50 business days, 6-8 weeks usually. I want to spend a sufficient amount of time combing through all the shots to ensure you get the best of the best, as well as amazing edit. This is all so you will LOVE my final product for you! The best of the best I like to say!
WHO DO YOU USE AS A SECOND SHOOTER?
It depends on the location of your wedding and the availability of the photographers I typically work with, but I always make sure to choose someone experienced who shares a similar eye and shooting style as I do.
